0034: Stargate, Independence Day, 2012

We revisit Independence Day and provide a definitive ranking for (probably) the most divisive film on the list.  Why is it is so bad? The wafer thin plot? The hideous level of AMURICA? The grating attempts at a deeper meaning? And who writes these podcast notes anyway?

(We also watched two other films by Roland Emmerich that were also pretty terrible)

  1. Man, Sam really hates Independence Day, the film is a stone cold classic.
Also, seems like the word of the day was “message”, I can’t be the only one who doesn’t give a monkey’s about a films message, am I?
